For added perimeter security, we offer sliding cantilevered gates and a range of speed gates for when a faster secure option is needed.

UK Security Design provides secure solutions for vehicle access control. The comprehensive range of products includes fast-acting rising arm barriers for heavy traffic flow and heavy duty rising arm security barriers with optional lattice skirts to aid in denying pedestrian access.
Our Automatic Rising Arm Barriers are designed to offer long term reliability, efficient operation and durability. They incorporate an integral 3 phase inverter driven motor and gearbox drive providing a smooth consistent operation (single phase supply). They are controlled by a Programmable Logic Controller, which can be programmed to suit any requirement. All versions of our barriers are CE approved and are 100% continuous duty cycle rated.
Whether your application is residential or commercial, our barriers offer the ultimate flexibility to suit your needs. If a larger span is required, we are able to offer a heavy duty version capable of raising and lowering a pole length of up to 9 metres. The barrier system can be interfaced with unlimited access control options., such as proximity cards, remote control, vehicle identification tags, keypads, token or coin machines or can be integrated with your existing security systems.
If a more formidable anti-ram device is required then our road blockers are an ideal alternative:
• Designed to withstand substantial direct impact forces, our Road Blocker has been proven to protect sites from extreme aggressive attacks. The reliability and quality are unequalled in the market place
• Our Road Blocker has been tested at MIRA to a higher standard than the DoS SD-STD 2.01 requirement and achieved K12 – L3 penetration restriction
• This is the only British designed and British manufactured Road Blocker to be approved by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office at locations including the British High Commission in Islamabad, both the Consulate General and British Embassy in Istanbul.

The TRACKLESS Speed Gate is the most versatile speed gate to date. With no requirement for a 'top box' or ground track the TRACKLESS Speed gate truly offers a low cost but highly effective solution to vehicular access control.
• Gate structure can be made to match existing fence height negating the need for planning per mission
• The TRACKLESS Speed Gate is easily installed with minimal disruption to the entrance and the cost of concrete foundations is considerably reduced due to no ground track being required
• The TRACKLESS Speed Gate is now a serious consideration to conventional hinged or sliding certainly in terms of cost but more importantly, in operational security, efficiency and reliability
• Single bi-folding leaf up to 3.5m. wide Dual bi-folding gate - up to 7m wide road width
• Hydraulic or electro-mechanical drive - a range of power options dependent on gate size
• Opening / closing speed programmable for Hydraulic option, 5 or 6 seconds for electro-mechanical drive options
